Leaving school with a sense of uncertainty about my future, I made a bold decision that would shape my entire career.
Embarking on a gap year adventure across China, Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji, I unknowingly caught the travelling bug, igniting a passion that would lead me to redefine the concept of personalised luxury holidays. I’ve since travelled to the farthest reaches of the world, exploring the biggest cities and smallest villages, vast rainforests and tiny desert islands.
The Frustration of Traditional Travel Jobs:
Upon returning from my gap year, I worked in various travel sales and concierge jobs, eager to continue exploring the world and sharing my experiences with others.
However, I soon grew frustrated with the lack of progression and the absence of truly exceptional travel experiences available to discerning travellers.
Recognising a Gap in the Market:
Driven by my love for travel and armed with a vast network of contacts I had amassed over the years, I saw a glaring gap in the market.
I realised that while anyone could book a holiday, very few travel companies offered the level of luxury and personalisation I sought. Inspired by this, I set out to create a new standard for bespoke travel.
